Hudson is considered a major miracle at Rady Children’s Hospital. It was discovered in utero that Hudson had a massive cervical teratoma. His chances of survival were bleak. He and his family spent a year in Rady Children’s NICU and survived many groundbreaking procedures created unique for his case. Thanks to the amazing work of the staff at Rady Children’s, Hudson made a full recovery.
Today, he is 17 years old, in twelfth grade at University City High School, and a total sports fanatic and athlete. He aspires to attend college to study sport broadcasting next year. He presently hosts a podcast called “Hud’s Sports Babble” where he showcases local sports stars, discusses hot topics, and makes predictions. He has recently undergone groundbreaking surgical procedures focused on a swallowing disorder from his trauma at birth.
