Bay Park Unit founder Mia Lloyd was looking for a worthy cause to which she might give of her time and talent. When she learned more about Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, she decided to make it her charity of choice and, after recruiting some excited friends who had fundraising know-how, the 21st Auxiliary Unit was born.
We, the members of the Bay Park Unit, are grateful to our mentors within the organization who have given us a warm welcome as we join the living legacy that is Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary. It is an honor to be in the ranks of the vibrant women (and men!) who bring such hope and support to the patients and families at Rady Children’s.
