Founded in 2010
The Young Professionals Unit was formed in 2010 and is one of the Auxiliary’s most cherished units. This group of young working professionals, based all over San Diego County, is a representation of a new generation of Rady Children’s advocates.
On top of juggling full-time jobs, members seek to support the Hospital through social activities, fundraising and assisting at other Auxiliary events as needed. The Unit meets on the last Tuesday evening of each month and gathers for special events like decorating the hospital for the holidays, hosting a booth at the Celebration of Champions, or throwing a birthday bash at the Bernardy Center. With a passion for serving children, the Young Professionals Unit enjoys meeting others who share the same interests and contributing to a meaningful cause.
