Donor Advised Fund

A donor advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Rady Children’s and other qualified charities.

You can recommend a gift from your DAF directly through our website. This includes funds held with Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, National Christian Foundation and hundreds of other DAF providers. Click the “DAFpay” button below to get started.

Your fund can also be distributed to Rady Children’s after your lifetime—simply name us as successor beneficiary of the remaining or a portion of the balance. This can be completed through your fund administrator as well.

Tips for giving through your DAF

• Giving through your DAF is a smart way to support Rady Children’s as it has no impact on your income today. You are making our community a healthier place, one child at a time.
• You can specify how you want your gift to be used in the “message” field of DAFpay during your checkout experience. Non-designated donations are greatly appreciated and will support our greatest needs.
• If you are requesting to make the gift through your DAF administrator, ask to include your name and address on the distribution. This allows us to thank you for the gift.
• Remember that no goods or services can be provided for your grant.
