A donor advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Rady Children’s and other qualified charities.
If you already have a fund, you may want to make an immediate impact on kid’s health. Contact your DAF administrator to recommend a gift or call us for more information.
If you prefer that your fund be distributed to Rady Children’s after your lifetime, simply name us as successor beneficiary of the remaining or a portion of the balance.
Tips for giving through your DAF
- Ask your institution to include your name and address on the distribution. This allows us to thank you for the gift.
- Specify how you want your gift to be used. Non-designated donations are greatly appreciated and will support our greatest needs.
- Remember that no goods or services can be provided for your grant.
- This is a smart way to support Rady Children’s as it has no impact on your income today. You are making San Diego and beyond a healthier place – one child at a time.
